When you make a purchase, we collect your name, billing address, delivery address, email address, phone number and payment details. We use this to process your payment, deliver your order, send order confirmations and invoices, communicate with you about your order, and screen orders for potential fraud.
Customer support information
If you contact us, we collect the information you give us, such as your name, email address, order details and the content of your message, so that we can respond and help you.
Marketing, reviews and wishlists
If you sign up to our mailing list, leave a product review or save items to a wishlist, we collect the information you provide, such as your name and email address, and your preferences.
How we use your information
We use your personal information to sell and deliver our products, process payments and returns, provide customer support, prevent fraud, improve the Site, and, where you have agreed or where the law allows, send you news about our products, collections and offers. You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time using the link in any email.
Our lawful bases
Under the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and, where it applies, the EU GDPR, we rely on the following lawful bases:
- Performance of a contract, to process and deliver your orders and handle returns;
- Legal obligation, for example keeping records for tax and accounting purposes;
- Legitimate interests, to run, secure and improve our Site and business and to prevent fraud, where these interests are not overridden by your rights;
- Consent, for marketing emails and for non-essential cookies, which you can withdraw at any time.

We share your personal information only with trusted service providers who help us run our business, including:
- Shopify, which powers our online store and checkout (Shopify privacy policy);
- Payment providers, to process your payments securely;
- Our delivery and fulfilment partners, including Royal Mail, Evri, DPD and their international partners, to deliver your orders and handle returns;
- Klaviyo, to send our emails and newsletters;

Advertising and analytics
With your consent where required, we and our advertising partners (such as Meta and Google) use cookies and similar technologies to understand how visitors use the Site and to show you relevant advertising on other websites and social media. You can opt out of personalised advertising at any time:
- Meta: www.facebook.com/settings/?tab=ads
- Google: adssettings.google.com
- Your Online Choices, for the UK and Europe: youronlinechoices.com

Cookies
A cookie is a small file that is saved on your device when you visit a website. We use cookies that are necessary for the Site to work (for example, to keep items in your basket and complete checkout), as well as analytics and marketing cookies, which we only use with your consent where required. You can change your cookie choices using our cookie banner, and you can block or delete cookies through your browser settings, although parts of the Site may not work properly if you do. For more information about the cookies used by our store platform, please see Shopify's cookie policy.
International transfers
Some of our service providers, including Shopify, store and process information outside the UK, for example in the European Economic Area, Canada and the United States. Where this happens, we rely on appropriate safeguards, such as UK adequacy regulations or standard contractual clauses, to protect your information.
How long we keep your information
We keep order information for as long as needed to fulfil your order and to meet our legal, tax and accounting obligations (usually six years). We keep marketing information until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it.
Your rights
You have the right to access the personal information we hold about you, and to ask us to correct, update, delete or transfer it. You also have the right to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw your consent at any time. To exercise any of these rights, please email info@tutupikin.com.
We do not make decisions about you based solely on automated processing that have a legal or similarly significant effect. Our store platform, Shopify, uses limited automated checks to help prevent fraud, such as temporarily blocking IP addresses or cards linked to repeated failed transactions.
Children
Although we sell clothing for children, our Site is intended for use by adults, and purchases must be made by an adult. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has given us personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
Do Not Track
Because there is no consistent industry standard for responding to "Do Not Track" signals, we do not change our data collection practices when we detect one.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes to our practices or for legal or regulatory reasons. The latest version will always be available on this page.
Complaints
If you have a complaint about how we handle your personal information, please contact us first at info@tutupikin.com. If you are not satisfied with our response, you have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), the UK data protection regulator, at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint.
