How you wash a piece depends on the cloth it is made from. The care for your own piece is on its product page and on its care label — please read that first. In general:

Hand-dyed cotton damask
Machine wash cold (30°C) on a gentle cycle; cool iron. As each piece is hand-dyed, no two are exactly alike.

Hand-painted batik
A gentle cold hand wash; do not soak. Cool iron.

Mulberry silk
Dry clean, or hand wash cold with a silk detergent; cool iron on the reverse. Do not soak.

For everything we make
Do not bleach. Do not rub or wring out. Turn the garment inside out and wash with similar colours. Hang or lay flat to dry.

If you are ever unsure, write to us at info@tutupikin.com before you wash it. We would far rather answer the question than see a piece spoiled.
